FM asks Pvt Sector to clear MSME dues in 45 days
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Friday appealed the private sector to clear dues of MSMEs and small businesses within 45 days.
The private sector and industries should commit to make the payments in 45 days along with the books of accounts filed with the Registrar of Companies which will mention the outstanding dues.
Private sector should think ahead to address these issues to support small businesses as they are the backbone of the Indian Economy and assured central government will also be taking steps to resolve the issue by ensuring the departments’ and public sector enterprises complete their payments in 90 days.
