A New Force Awakens
The number of women-led MSMEs that have registered on the Udyam Registration Portal has increased by over 75% during the previous fiscal year.
According to the Minister of State for MSME Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma, around 8.59 lakh women-led MSMEs would be registered during the fiscal year 2021-22.
Furthermore, as per RBI data for FY22, ~33% of accounts in Scheduled Commercial Banks are held by female account holders.
